Each day for our bike ride through Oregon and California I pick one kid from the EMP program and dedicate the day to them. Also I dedicate on photo from the trip to that child. Today the EMP Kid of the day is Mariana!

MARIANA: Mariana is the oldest girl, almost like a little woman the counterpart to Jefferson whom is the oldest boy. We gave Mariana the opportunity to be in the project because she asked, and she was consistent with her studies and attendance to class. And who could refuse to tenderness that characterizes Mariana, besides being very advanced in English, and always working on organizing the younger students. Mariana is a key helper and student in our EMP program! We hope that one day she will become a leader in the barrio and beyond as well!
