Each day for our bike ride through Oregon and California I pick one kid from the EMP program and dedicate the day to them. Also I dedicate on photo from the trip to that child. Today the EMP Kid of the day is Jefferson!

EMP Kid of the day - Jefferson
Jefferson: One of the main rules of the EMP is that we only accept children under 10. That being said we decided to give Jefferson a pass on that rule due to his enthusiasm in the program. Now after almost 3 years of working with Jefferson we see that the decision to include him was the right one. He has become in so many way the class leader among the students of the EMP, often times organizing the activities for the other children. Watching Jefferson turn into a future community leader, is what keeps us motivated.
